Is your website secure or does it carry a Google warning?

You can tell by accessing your site through Google Chrome and looking at the top left hand corner of the screen.

If you see a green locked padlock  and the word Secure, it’s safe.

If it carries one of these symbols  or   it’s not safe and if someone decides to leave their contact details the words Not Secure will appear.

The Google security warning will be costing you business as security-savvy visitors will not leave information or purchase goods from a site displaying either of the warning symbols.

If your site carries a Google security warning what should you do?

Get onto your web developers without delay and instruct them to upgrade your site to HTTPS as quickly as possible.

If they can’t do it, drop me an email and our digital team will fix it.
