I hate restaurants where the chef is constantly changing the menu – because my favourite dishes are always dropped.

I hate stores where the layout is continually altered – because I can never find what I’m looking for.

I hate social sites that are always being revamped for the same reason.

I, however, like the new Linkedin layout despite a chorus of caustic criticism from frustrated users.

It’s a reminder to us all that when it comes to change, gradual can be better than transformational.
